I was pleased at how positive and enthusiastic people were, and even the people who couldn't make it expressed how sorry and disappointed they were in advance so we knew how many people we had and who would be coming.

Filming this small scene took over two hours but our actors didn't seem to mind, they all co-operated and took direction well. I was pleasantly surprised at how eager people were to drench themselves in the ketchup/BBQ sauce concoction we had mixed up and Emily (our make up artist for Jess) even offered to paint brushes and scratches on peoples faces, adding more detailed mise en scene which was wonderful.
I found filming this the most challenging as this scene (similar to the basketball scene) has a lot of fast editing involved and at points I found it hard to think of all the shots I needed and imagine how they would look in Premiere. All through this project i have used the motto 'rather too much that too little' and so filmed this scene over and over from lots of different angels, using lots of different techniques to insure i got the perfect shot.
We took photographs of our cast being turned into zombies with the aid of face paint, make up and a lot of fake blood. Emily, our make up artist for our band (inperticular our lead singer) helped, not only by giving our actors cuts and bruises but also by acting for us as well.
